I did read the other post... about it through the search function..

but after a cold winter night, windy, -20-30 C, the GP base started fine, as I reversed out, something felt like it was dragging not sure on that.. then put it in D, then drive off, then the abs light and trac light came out.. then tried to brake hard no abs....

so I pulled over down our street, shut the car off and started it up, no problem since.. knock on wood...
Is this normal to happen in this cold weather? I've known other cars are fine... previous ones...

i just read up that the regular cable we have for OBDii will not pick up abs codes, and all... is there any one that does the powertrain, and abs ones.. what prefix does the abs one come under? is there any generic way, like shorting the pins to find out?
