Well yesterday I was going back to work from my lunch and as I was just cruising on my way back and in front of me their was this Jeep that was hauling a trailer it yield and gradually stopped because their was a car making a u turn and I came up behind him and gradually stopped also, their was a least a good 3 to 4 yards between my bumper and his trailer. Well after I stopped a few seconds later I just here tires screeching and just as I was looking in my rear view mirror I just hear this loud bang. This IDIOT wasn't paying attention and rear ended me and pushed me into the trailer in front of me. I was so pissed off. I've have a suspended license and I've been driving like an old lady just to avoid getting pulled over and now this shit happens, well I got my license taken away by the police officer and he took mercy on me since I wasn't at fault and told me he wasn't going to arrest me but from now on if they catch me driving I'm automatically going to jail. I really didn't need this shit in my life right now since my job is about 30 miles away and I also go to school in the same city as my job. So I really need to be driving. Well we exchanged insurance info and all that, but now I'm worried that my GP won't be covered because of my license situation and like I said I need to be driving. My rear bumper is falling off. He hit me on the rear end passenger side of the car so he smashed my right muffler in and dropped the whole exhaust. And since he pushed me into the trailer in front of me, my front bumper cracked. Well here are a few pics of the damage.

Whether or not you 'need' to be driving, you SHOULD NOT be on the roads. Your license was suspended for a reason.

Been there. Lady in front of me stopped, I stopped, lady behind me stopped, but there was no screeching tires when the guy behind her hit her at +35 mph. The Grand Am behind me was totaled, pushed off of my bumper into oncoming traffic. The guy who hit her was in a Ford Explorer, paying no attention at all. Come to find out, he had no insurance, and now, over a year later, I find out he declared bankruptcy, so I'm out my deductible.

Sucks that it happens, but hey, the LED tails are cheaper than the stocks, and you can probably get the Inferno kit for less than the stock parts.

my couzin got into an accident also, he has no license at all watsoever, on top of that hes 17...
a 15yr old girl stole her mommy and daddys car, went for a joy ride, did a hit and run with a car and while trying to get away she hit my couzin.. car, totaled.. right now he got a lawyer and the parents of the girl are paying for everything. although i do agree both you and my couzin shoudve never been driving in the first place, it still doesnt mean u have no rights.. but a lawyer may just add more frustration to you and make it worse depending on the situation since like you said u have alotta stuff on your plate..

were in cali too so doubt thers any difference in laws..

Sorry about your accident. You should take city bus or taxi instead driving your car with suspension liscense. Now, this accident cause you lost your liscense and probably insurance won't cover for that too.

I know you need it for job and school. I'm sure you will find other way to find someone like friends or family pick you up or go to city bus/taxi either. Probably not fun but what can you do? You are not allowed to driving for whatever reason why they suspend your liscense. Drive like old people does help but there are like 99.9% cannot be avoid by idiot driving.

Laws are different everywhere, but when my wife's car got totaled (many years ago), she had a license and no insurance, but the bitch who hit her had insurance but no license. My wife lost that one, hands down. So whether the license was present or not, the insurance company should still be able to take care of it.
