[color=#40FFBF]I just bought a 2004 pontiac grand prix gtp 2 weeks ago, I was thinking of getting chrome led tail lights, Chrome or black CCFL Halo Projector Headlights. Now the only thing I worry about is the leds, when and if the leds go out in an tail light are they replacable? With the ccfl halos are they made well enough that they last pretty long (3+ yrs)?

For the rims I was thinking of getting Sport Edition F7 and i was wandering if someone already has those rims on their grand prix just wandering what they look like on.

I haven't had my LED tails long enough for any of the bulbs to go bad, but I'm sure with the right LED and some patience you could replace them but I have no idea how it would be achieved. As for the projectors I really, really, really, really, really, really would not spend your money on them. The projectors are terrible, they are not horizontally aligned correctly and have no way of aligning them and last I checked they didn't make a CCFL version of the projectors for 04+. But I could be wrong.

Leds can be replaced in tails. Ive had mine for @ least 3 years and have not had any bulbs blow out. Proj headlights.....I would not bother looka ricey if you ask me and light output is terrible. A retro fit is the way to go if your wanting better lighting or even pnp Hids.

Just because it is difficult to link some of the stuff from my phone,

It looks like they finally do offer the ccfl in the newer style. But sadly still not worth the 300+ they want for them

For the Retro, you can do either, do them your self ( somewhat involved) or have them done for you ( if you can find someone willing to do so)

For Retro fit info search. "Morimotomini " look for posts by mrangry ( did some write ups, other have too I just can't think who) and visit the retrofitsource to buy the mini's

Sorry for no links, but I am sure someone will add them, and your search results should keep you busy till then.

thx, well I'll definitly give it a try when summer comes along, too cold right now.

Has anyone done a retro fit on the high beam of the headlight or is the housing too small? And can a retro fit be done on the fog lights too?( the one with half (turn signal/running light) and fog light )

Atleast the Projectors look cool, but the Retrofits look 10x better!

Morimoto minis come with an actuator for hi/lo from one bulb. Basically if wired right the cut off flips down to give a high beam. There is info on this in a write up arround here some place...

There's a few that done them. I have a set almost completed but waiting to get car back on side so I can aim them before I seal them. There is no write up's. Several guys including myself have different ways of doing it. there is no wrong or right way...all tht matters is if your happy and most importantly to get the cut off staight.

I'd like to see a write up on anybodies procedures. I think that would be a cool set up. I have to fix the headlight bounce first. god is that annoying. It looks like a cheap car because of it :/
