I need to do a tune up on my car. Just wondering what everyone includes with their tune up. I'll be changing my plugs and wires. My cars engine is stock (n/a) what spark plugs should I use? Oem, aftermarket iridium, or copper.

How hard is it to change the 04+ rear plugs and wires for that matter?

If you don't plan on modding, stay with OEM plugs and wires.

I agree on the stock plugs & wires, plus replace the air filter. To get at the back plugs remove the dogbone motor mounts and roll the motor forward. I use a ratcheting tie down strap to hold it in place.

Or you can climb up on the diagonal brace and motor mounts to get the back ones

How are they? Would they be overkill for a stock engine?

Just get the stock plugs and thank us after 50,000 miles. Using different spark plugs won't give you more power.

NGK TR55's aren't iridium and won't last as long on a 3800's waste ignition system as iridium's would.

I have seen gains in gas mileage and smoothed out idle, but that might be because I needed plugs

i had the TR55IX in my car and had a good hand full of misfires so i changed it up and purchased autolites copper core and the misfires completly went away on my l26 but the change to copper core was to see if it was the plug which is a cheap test to me so before 2,000 more miles im switching back to oem

I haven't had misfires yet, but it has only been 2000 miles
